As a family travelling for a funeral, we were relieved to find a pet-friendly and family-friendly accommodation like this. It provided a warm and homely sanctuary during our difficult time. The flat was immaculate and well-equipped, with a lovely greeting from the shop below and delicious chocolates. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom modern, and the views over the street were charming. We appreciated the enclosed back garden and the convenient location, with shops and attractions within walking distance.
I do recommend this hotel.

My partner and I had a wonderful stay at the garden flat for a week. The spacious and homely atmosphere made it feel like a home away from home. Having a garden, accessible through the kitchen, was a great bonus, especially for our dogs. The flat was well-equipped with utensils in the kitchen, and the shower was fantastic. We were greeted with chocolates and coffee, which was a lovely touch. The location was perfect, with plenty of places to see and local walks to enjoy. a 10 out of 10 experience!

The In House Garden Flat provided a comfortable and cozy stay for us. The flat was well-equipped with modern appliances in the kitchen and a deep bath in the bathroom. The added bonus of a lovely enclosed back garden allowed us to enjoy the good weather in peace. Its central location in town made it convenient for exploring the shops and attractions. we had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend this accommodation.
We did have to navigate a few stairs due to the flat being on different levels, but it wasn't a major issue for us.

I had the most delightful stay at a charming flat in Castle Douglas. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and thoughtful touches. The host, Gillian, had prepared freshly ground coffee and homemade truffles, which were absolutely divine. The flat itself was impeccably furnished, with a cozy bed and a spacious kitchen that I fell in love with. I must admit, staying above Gillian's coffee and chocolate shop was a temptation I couldn't resist; I found myself indulging in coffee and two truffles every afternoon. The location was perfect, with plenty to explore in the surrounding area. I particularly enjoyed visiting the specialist shops on King Street in Castle Douglas and the charming towns of Kirkcudbright and Newton Stewart. I even discovered Wigtown, Scotland's book town, and plan to return for their Book Festival in September. my stay was simply wonderful, and I can't wait to visit again.

The flat was fantastic, offering everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was spotlessly clean, cosy, and had central heating throughout. the big back garden was a real bonus, providing a lovely enclosed space to relax. the location was perfect, right in the middle of the high street, making it easy to explore the town and visit nearby attractions in Dumfries and Galloway.
Not a problem for us, but the flat had various different levels, which meant a few stairs.

The flat was well-equipped and tastefully furnished. The large kitchen was a bonus and the comfortable bed ensured a good night's sleep. The location of the flat was ideal, with plenty of specialist shops and attractions nearby.
The wifi signal was weak and unreliable, making it difficult to stay connected. The noise from traffic occasionally disturbed the peace, especially when the windows were open.
